If the water supply facilities are designed in such a way, it would be quite obvious that the shortage of distribution volume of water supply will continue even after the completion of the project. The basic principles in planning water supply, i.e., the short, the medium, and the long term plans, should be introduced in accordance with the appropriate demand forecast. It is necessary to set the target year for developing water supply facilities, and the distribution capacity of water supply system should be calculated based on the projected population.
