   • 1916, John Duncan Quackenbos, Body and Spirit: An Inquiry Into the Subconscious, Based upon Twelve Thousand Experiences in the Author's Practice‎^[2], Harper & Brothers, page 103:

     The pseudo-genius, with his eccentricities, neurotic expression, and irresponsibility, is a vastly different product, and gives color to the contention of some alienists that the relation between insanity and genius is close.
