     Chang Yen, vice minister of the State Planning Committee, delivered a memorial speech which said: Comrade Kao Yun-ping was from Michih County, Shensi Province. He participated in revolution in January 1938 and joined the CCP in September 1941. He had done a great deal of work in the war of resistance against Japanese aggression, in the war of liberation and in socialist revolution and construction, ardently loved Chairman Mao and was loyal to the party and socialism.
