第173条 二次的著作物 173.1次の二次的著作物も，著作権により保護される。 (a)文学的又は美術的著作物の脚色，翻訳，翻案，要約，編曲その他の改作物 (b)文学的，学術的又は技術的著作物の編集物，及び内容の選択若しくは調整又は配列により独創的であるデ－タその他の素材の編集物例文帳に追加

Sec.173 Derivative Works 173.1. The following derivative works shall also be protected by copyright: (a) Dramatizations, translations, adaptations, abridgments, arrangements, and other alterations of literary or artistic works; and (b) Collections of literary, scholarly or artistic works, and compilations of data and other materials which are original by reason of the selection or coordination or arrangement of their contents. - 特許庁
