gooning (uncountable)

1. (neologism) A form of legal kidnapping in which troubled teenagers are forcibly transported to boot camps, boarding schools, wilderness therapy, or similar rehabilitation facilities, often conducted by a group of intimidating men ("goons") under cover of darkness.
