dreamery (plural dreameries)

1. A place suited for dreaming.
   • 1929 November, Mabel E. Palmer, “My dreamery”, in International Poetry Magazine‎, volume 7, number 4, page 20:

     Just slip into my hallway
     And up a winding stair
     If you would find my dreamery,—
     There's sunshine everywhere.
     And rows and rows of windows
     That slide into the wall
     Tempt breezes to my dreamery,
     And fairies, one and all.
     My father planned it for me,
     His love's reflected there,
     And dreams from out my dreamery
     Should come true anywhere.
     He said that dreams would blossom,
     And bear the fruit of love,
     If one who owned a dreamery—
     Had faith and worked above.
     And since I've planted dream seeds,
     Till harvest I must stay,
     And work there in my dreamery,
     With might and main each day.
     Then, when my plants have blossomed,
     And borne their fruit so fair,
     I'll garner, in my dreamery,
     Both fruit and patience rare.

     There's ever yearning on the windlass hill,

     It dies upon itself, the gentle death
     Of sunsets giving to the dark their gold.
