Also, this plan calls for separating non-performing loans for transfer to a “bad bank,” based on the results of stress tests and, depending on the circumstances, injecting public funds. In a speech you made in Tokyo in January, you cited four prescriptions for the financial crisis, including recognizing losses, injecting public funds and removing (non-performing loans) off the balance sheets, and this plan is largely in line with these.
