Any application comprising more than five claims, independent and/or multiple/alternative dependent claims at the time of filing, or added claims after the filing date in respect of each claim over and above five incurs payment of a claims fee. The claims fee shall be payable within one month after the filing of the application. If the claim fees have not been paid in due time, they may still be validly paid within a grace period of one month from notice pointing out the failure to observe the time limit.
