In regard to these cases, there might be a difference between the place where the offense was committed (the country in which such defamatory message was posted) and the place where the consequence of the posting arose (the country in which the posted message has been read). Therefore, the question in issue is; which country's law shall be applicable as the law which governs the "place of the occurrence of the cause for the tort."
