The FSA will continue to closely monitor the developments in markets including foreign exchange and stock markets, and respond properly according to the economic and financial climate from the viewpoint of sufficiently demonstrating financial intermediation functions. In fact, at today’s informal gathering with Cabinet ministers, financial measures for SMEs were brought up by the Minister of State for Economic and Fiscal Policy, if I am not mistaken.
