我々（の世界）は自由主義経済ですから、統制経済ではございませんから、そういったところの根幹に関することで、やはり証券取引等監視委員会が独立性を保っているということは、皆さん方はよくご存じですけれども、公権力が即経済に介入するというのは、自由主義経済（にとって）、あまり好ましくないという基本的な思想がありまして、私はこういった独立性を保っていると認識いたしておりますが、現在、（事実）関係の解明を待つ必要があるために、今後の行政対応について、今の時点では申し上げることはできないと思っております。 - 金融庁
