本発明に係るプリンタ制御方法及びプリンタ制御装置は、印刷データの水平方向密度をプリンタの水平方向解像度により除算したときの商に等しい個数のドットごとの区分に印刷データを区切り、かつ、一区分に含まれている印刷データに対応するインクドットの大きさの合計に最も近い大きさの１個のインクドットを各区分ごとに割り当て、その割当てに従った印刷の実行を指令するものである。 - 特許庁
