        Courage here has the obsolete sense “a courageous person”. In the First Folio (1623), page 156, the passage is rendered as “But doe not dull thy palme, vvith entertainment / Of each vnhatch't, vnfledg'd Comrade”—a warning from Polonius to Laertes not to waste his time entertaining people who have yet to show that they are loyal friends.
