(1) 一定の手続に従ってパリ同盟の加盟国，世界貿易機関の加盟国，又は優先権の承認に関する協定をラトビアが締結している他の国若しくは連合組織に特許出願又は実用新案出願を行った者であって，同じ発明に関してラトビアにおいて特許出願を行った者又はその権原承継人は，最初の出願の日から12月間優先権を有する。 - 特許庁
