次のものからなる又は次のものを含む商標は，登録されない。ブルネイ・ダルサラーム国の王室紋章，国家紋章，王室の記章，紋及びその他の記章及び紋章等を含む，ブルネイ・ダルサラーム国の紋章，記章及び紋章の表示，又はそれらと酷似で誤認される虞のある図案，王冠，国王又は皇室旗章の表示，又はこれらの偽造，国王又は王室の一員の何れかの表示又はこれらの偽造，出願人が王室の後援又は許可を受けている又は最近受けたものと人々に信じさせる虞のある語，文字又は図案，記章及び名称法(不正使用の防止)の第2条で特定の名称又は紋章と定められている名称又は物，又はこれらの偽造。ただし，国王又はその代わりの者の，あるいは状況に応じて王室の一員の，許諾を得ている登録官が認める場合は，この限りでない。例文帳に追加

A trademark is any sign distinguishing goods, whether products or services, and include in particular names represented in a distinctive manner, signatures, words, letters, numerals, designs, symbols, signposts, stamps, seals, drawings, engravings, a combination of distinctly formed colors and any other combination of these elements if used, or meant to be used, to distinguish the products of a particular industry, agricultural, forest or mining venture or any goods, or to indicate the origin of products or goods, or their quality, category, guarantee, preparation process, or to indicate the provision of any service.  - 特許庁
