1. (archaic) A tenth.

Inherited from 古期英語 tēoþa, teogoþa, from Proto-West Germanic *tehundō, *tegundō, from Proto-Germanic *tehundô, *tegundô; equivalent to ten +‎ -the (ordinal suffix); compare tenthe.
