カーエアコンについても、自動車リサイクル法に基づいてクルマが廃棄されるときにはフロンが回収され、更に様々な部品や材料もリサイクルされているのです。このような制度により、日本のフロン回収量は年々増加し、大気への放出を抑制しているのです。また、冷媒量の削減と気密化による漏れ量低減で排出量を削減しています。カーエアコンの製造過程では、部品の繋ぎ目からフロンが漏れないようにする為、炉中ろう付を行っています。ろう付は６００度の熱でろう剤を溶かし、０．１ｍｍ以下のわずかな隙間を埋めることができる最先端の技術です。ろう付後は、ヘリウムによる漏れ検査を実施。結合部のＯリングなどの装着は、視覚装置により組み付け位置を検出し、ロボットが組み付けていきます。また、高性能化、小規模化に伴い、使用する冷媒量も減尐しています。 - 経済産業省
