First, we have been making efforts to develop various institutional frameworks and improve financial administration based on our experiences of the financial crisis of the 1990s. This was explained by Mr. Sato. Third, we will follow the lessons learned in the current global financial crisis. The first lesson is that we should quickly and accurately identify risks involved in the entire financial system. At the same time, we intend to strengthen cooperation with the Bank of Japan and overseas authorities.
