The other issue is that documents which financial institutions are required to submit to the Financial Services Agency (FSA) have been increasing over the past decade. I know that it is not a matter that the FSA is charged with, but the results of the study group on the operation of the Japan Housing Finance Agency (JHF) were released the other day, which include a suggestion that a certain degree of governmental support should be maintained for it.
